Time is ticking. The clock is counting down the days until the final presentation. This speech is only a month away, which is really not a lot of time, like, at all. I am focusing on my presentation and how I want to structure my speech in the best way to build up to my main idea. I need to make lists of who I want to come and watch me and my idea come to life. I have done research, made a conclusion, and know the facts. Now, I need to keep that information fresh in my mind as the days tick by to presentation night. This all seems pretty straightforward, however, there are a few hiccups. I am going to start EMT school soon which requires preparation in itself. I recently moved fire stations which requires a lot of memorization of the new personnel and rigs. Furthermore, I still have all my other classes to study for. All of this adds to a lot of pressure to get everything done yet still adequate quality. However, I have noticed that despite feeling somewhat behind, I am doing well off compared to other people. Some classmates don't have mentors or still are unsure of what to do for their final product. This makes me feel more assured in my standing with my work and progress. I can only hope to keep trudging along to the end of the year and finish strong.
