My presentation went surprisingly well. After all the stress and preparation, I finally started to feel like I could handle the challenge ahead. The biggest shift came when I realized exactly what I needed to focus on—F-500 EA and high-pressure water mist. Now that I have a clear direction, I feel like I’m picking up speed and making real progress toward my final presentation in April. Instead of feeling overwhelmed, I’m excited to refine my research and make my case even stronger.

One of the best parts of this experience is that I’ve invited Captain Hyatt and Battalion Chief Morrison to my final presentation, and they both said they can come. That’s a huge deal. Having them in the audience is both nerve-wracking and incredibly motivating. They’ve been supportive throughout this process, and it’ll be great to have their insight when I present my final findings. With just a little time left, I’m focused on sharpening my work and making sure I deliver the best presentation possible.
